How it works

SVG to PNG in three clear steps.

Rasterize safe SVG artwork as transparent PNG files at 1×, 2×, 3×, or 4× scale with a clear preview and exact output dimensions.

  1. 01

    Add SVG artwork

Choose up to ten self-contained SVG files without scripts or external resources.

  2. 02

    Choose the PNG scale

Use 1× for the intrinsic canvas or 2×, 3×, and 4× for progressively higher raster resolution.

  3. 03

    Rasterize and download

Preview the transparent PNG, verify its exact pixel dimensions, and download the finished result.

Format-specific controls

A focused SVG to PNG workflow.

Selectable resolution

Rasterize at up to four times the SVG's intrinsic dimensions while maintaining its aspect ratio.

Transparent PNG output

Artwork is rendered onto a transparent canvas unless the SVG itself defines a background.

Defensive SVG validation

Scripts, event handlers, document entities, embedded HTML, and external resource links are rejected before rendering.

SVG to PNG questions

Know what changes before you convert.

What scale should I choose?+

Use 1× when the SVG already has the exact required dimensions. Choose 2× or higher for dense displays, larger exports, or extra downsampling headroom.

Will the PNG stay editable as vectors?+

No. PNG is a raster format made of pixels. Keep the original SVG if you need to edit paths, shapes, or text later.

Does SVG transparency remain transparent?+

Yes. Areas not painted by the SVG remain transparent in the PNG output.

Why was my SVG rejected?+

For safety and predictable output, Toolkit rejects scripts, event handlers, embedded HTML, document entities, and links to external images, fonts, or styles.

Why does some text look different?+

An SVG that depends on an unavailable font may use a fallback. Convert critical text to vector paths before uploading when exact typography matters.
